Data privacy

What the form transmits

Only what you type is sent: your name, one contact and the message itself, that is the place, the change, the page that shows it and how you know it. The address and language of the page you send from are added, and a hidden field that people never see keeps spam robots out. No other data is collected.

What notes serve

A form service holds the notes until the next revision. They serve one purpose: checking what they report and acting on it. Nobody is written to unless a note asks for a reply and leaves a contact. Names and contacts never appear on the site, are not sold and are not handed to the club, school or organiser; the revision notes record a change, never its sender.

Visits counted, no cookies

No cookies are set. A short script from the site’s own domain counts page views and clicks on links that lead away; it keeps nothing in the browser and tracks nobody across sites. A view notes the page, the page before it, the browser, the device type and the country taken from the request, and only totals are looked at.

No outside servers

No advertising, no share buttons, no third-party trackers: fonts, icons and images are served by the site itself. Links to sources and maps lead away, and the other site’s privacy rules then apply. The hosting provider handles technical data such as IP addresses only as far as delivering the pages needs them.

Your GDPR rights

To have a note corrected or deleted, send a new one through the form with the same name and contact and say what you want; it is carried out at the next revision, with a reply only if you ask for one. A complaint can also go to a data protection authority; for Bavaria that is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht.
