Training groups and lessons 10

Teaching around Nuremberg sits mostly inside the clubs. SC Noris-Tarrasch has children’s afternoons with trained instructors and a training evening for league players, the Post SV and SC JÄKLECHEMIE Talente Franken train young players in Nürnberg, the Schachclub Eggerbachtal offers a beginners’ diploma course, and the TSV Neunkirchen am Brand trains several groups in Dormitz, among them one for girls.

Outside the clubs, the city’s culture and leisure programme lists weekly lessons for children for a monthly fee, the Russisch-Deutsches Kulturzentrum and the IBH International Bildungshaus run courses for children of different ages, and the university sports of the FAU in Erlangen hold a chess course in the winter semester. The Johann-Pachelbel-Realschule appears here for its chess teaching, which is open only to its own pupils.
